Sound's like a nice tour of one of my favorite cities. If you get the chance next time, head out to St. Simon's Island or one of the other barrier islands. Not too far out of the way and if you go in the off season it is fairly empty.
My sister lives in Savannah so I've been there several times. For those visiting I would suggest: -River Street: nice walk and lots of stores along the river -City Market -Broughton Street: some more shops, including tasty ice cream at Leopold's -and definitely do one of the trolley/horse tours -Tybee Island: great view from the lighthouse and tasty seafood at the Crab Shack
Our next trip may be to Charleston, SC. Any advice?
