This trip is all about my 10-year-old son. We saw Alcatraz from the air while flying into San Francisco a year ago and the idea was born. We have seen aquariums all over the country and have heard the one in Monterey is great. The best part of the trip is staying at the Treebones Resort in Big Sur overlooking the Pacific for 2 nights.
