Hi j__lbirds - not even funny - I mean International travelers,
Hope you are off to a good start - even though things were hectic yesterday hopefully things will go smoothly now. Even if they don't just do all you can to make it right & move on. Relax & Enjoy! Love, mom

Hey, while you are touring the sights of Barcelona, I'll be in historic Lewisburg. Yes, even if it is only 200 years old it still is history. Your sights wouldn't happen to be older than that?
Hope the weather is good, the food better, & the company the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Love, mom

Dad told me you called & were at the Eiffel Tower (I was waited to hear it fell over). I got home right after you called. Hoping you are having lots of fun. I'm sure the worst day on vacation is better than the best day at work. Thanks for the constant updates & photos. It gives me hope & something to look forward to during these hectic times.
Watch out for the gladiators!!!!!!!!!

I guess international travellers aren't accomodated as easily as domestic flights. All I had to do at the Atlanta airport was depart from gate B and circle my way to gate C. There were lots of eateries, massages, knicknacks & such. However, it sounds like Barcelona topped Atlanta's adventures. Love, mom

My mom called me at work yesterday to tell me you guys called & it sounded better than when you call from WV. If the connection is that good you might want to consider living in Europe or at least calling her from an international line. Ha! Ha!
Anyway, if you happen to see the pope please ask him to bless your mother in a special way. Between the ag dept., an AM 4-wheeler, & my new office buddy, I just might make the evening headlines. Hopefully, the pope's connection to the big guy will save me. And if it's not too much trouble ask him for a blessing for your dad.
Well, don't spend all day on your knees, blessing yourselves, but if it gets you in to see the man - do whatever it takes. Drink in the history.
Love, mom & yes, dad, too!

I have missed every call you guys have made, but I have saved them on the answering machine and listen to them daily. It's good to hear your voice(s). Hate to say it, but I guess your tour of European blockhouses is coming to an end. Not sure if I can wait until the 4th to see the pictures of steel bars & whitewashed blocks. Anyway you can get her sooner? Think about it & smooth sailing home.
Love, mom
