The Hard Rock Cafe??? A place to visit? Please do a better job of disguising paid advertisements. If it is not a paid advertisement, please develop a greater understanding of other cultures.

Those seeking the Hard Rock, McDonalds, the Gap, and Starbucks, can likely find that on their own, and do not need tour guides to aid them in the task.

Everyone travels on his/her own terms. So what's wrong with going to the Hard Rock while visiting Buenos Aires? Judged from the photos, I'd say the guy has actually been there and this is not a paid advertisement.

Re: the Hard Rock. In many South and Latin American countries the Hard Rock is actually a "see and be seen" location...for some reason a lot of the locals thinks it's the "cool" thing to do. It's certainly not the case in the U.S. or Europe, but it IS in South and Latin American. Anyways, just thought that you should know that (and I could care less if you believe me). I have no clue why the poster went to the Hard Rock (maybe for lame reasons), but I doubt that this is a paid advertisement or endorsement.

Hard Rock was cool but I did not go to that area for it. I was there for the Sunday Recoleta market which is very cool. Food and an open market. You must go to Iguazu Falls for at least two days, to to La Boca, and go to an Estancia. There is plenty to do there, trust me. If you know Spanish even better. I am able to speak some Spanish (ask for directions, count money, offer greetings, etc.) but not fluently. This is a marvelous place. Take advantage before it becomes real popular because it will!

This is a good start, but there a few missing things that are integral to any visit to Buenos Aires:
1. MALBA; the modern art museum, amazing contemporary Latin American art, and...the building alone is worth the visit.
2. Palermo; all sorts of shops and galleries featuring local artisits and designers...amazing weekend market. Fantastic, trendy restaurants and bars.
3. Milongas: a tango dance hall.
4. Recoleta, the cemetary, the arts centre, the market.
