Good luck with La Jolla - it is in the top five as far as real estate prices. I am really disappointed by you Coronado comment. My family has has a summer house there for 20 years and it is actually a very special place with a wonderful history. Did you take a gander at a guide book? The Hotel Del Coronado alone would take this to the special category. The Coronado beach is one of the most beautiful and swim/surf friendly in California. It is sad that people may read your journal and pass by such a wonderful place. I agree with you about La Jolla, as it is where I live but I have to stick up for Coronado.
