Awesome trip it was indeed. Watching the videos, almost allow me to feel as if i was partly there,( in my mind, of course). I'd loved to take one very soon myself. Activities like this, really take u away from the routine-ness of ur daily life. Thumbs up, Karen&Mike.
Been to Austalia and did 90% of what is being offered. Hotels are expensive as is food. Don't sign up for anything until you have a final dollar figure. Sounds like an awesome trip though, wish I could go again.
Anywhere you travel today it,s going to cost more of course, perhaps if you feel that it,s too expensive you can always stay home and sweep your side walks and make your little space at least look better, what do you think loves?
around how much did you save up for this trip..im looking into a trip to australia myself..but looking into keeping a budget.. i'd aprreciate the extra info..=] thanks
I did not find things to be terribly expensive on my trip to Australia, in fact they were very similar to the US. However, the taxes on certain products are more than here so you will expect to pay more for gas, cigarettes, etc. Another thing to remember is the exchange rate is $1 USD = $1.51 AUD so for every $100 US dollars you have, you get $151 Australian dollars. Absolutely consider this when figuring out your budget.
as you were.
i'd aprreciate the extra info..=] thanks
