I need help planning a trip/drive through California, but my time is limited to 8-10 days. I'm traveling with 2-3 adults. We want to see the beautiful coast and make stops in San Fran, Diego, and L.A., but not necessarily in that order. We opt out of the amusement parks. Any suggestions, or where to start? Fly in to ? Fly out of? We are coming from Chicago, so hopefull the weather will be sunny and warm, not hot the first two weeks in October. Help.
