Hi Joice, are you aware of the pet policy in the listed hotels ? I have to take my dog with me(60 lbs dog)...and a trip(drive) to Napa Valley where its so serene and beatifull and definitly cooler then L.A seems the ideal...I imagine I wont be abble to go into wineris with with my dog...but do you have other ideas of what to do in that area with a dog( such as hiking, dog friendly parks etc...)any input would be greatly appreciated...cant wait to go away, thanks,Leigh and Tess :)
Thank you Joyce for your arrangements. For Sat between 5pm and the dinner time, if there are not much retail stores still open, then we sure can spend sometime for photography. We can easily spend 2 hours for photography, so we should be fine.
Opus One is not mean. I think they try not to make their winery too tourist-sy, which is nice. So the patrons can have relaxing and enjoyable time for wine tasting without hassle. if you are interested, you can always make reservation for tour and private tasting.
I think in between 5pm and the dinner time, we can drive around to take photos or walk around. I think one of the goals of this trip is photography again.
O,... what can we do between 5pm to dinner reservation at Bistro Jeanty on Saturday? Coffee break or shop at outlet? There are not much retail stores still opened in Yontville in the evening. But we it's a lovely town to walk around though.
