I had spent a week in Moab. It was amazing, my cousin lives in Moab so we (My mom, sister, daughter and myself) had a personal guide, her husband works for the National Parks also. Arches was just beyond what I imagined, the formations were so amazing. If you ever go Moab, take the hike to Delecate Arch it is worth the hike. We also went rafting down the Colorado, very peaceful and lots to see on the way down. Make sure to drink a lot of water, you kinda of forget because of all the water around you, but you'll need it. I wanted to thank my cousin Debbie for showing us all the sights in Moab and the area. We also went to Canyon Lands, Dead Horse State Park, Island in the Sky etc. Another day we spent at a slot canyon and Gobblin Valley, the kids would love this place. Awesome trip can't wait to go back. If you like hiking and nature you'll love this area.
I have been to Mesa Verde National Park twice in my life once when i was a little girl with my family on vacation and then 9 years ago with my husband on our honeymoon going across country to get to Washington. I love it their it is so remarkable as how the indians made them and was able to hide from their enemies.
