A trip from July 16, 2007 to July 24, 2007, travelling to Chandler, Tucson, Benson, Bisbee, Tombstone …

Trip objective is to see and do the most and best of Arizona in 8 days. Much is based upon the AAA Tour book "Gem" attractions and high popularity of "things to do" from Yahoo Travel. With children ages 5,7 and 9, I have kept museums to only two that are highly reccommended by AAA.
Trip cost for us included air fare from Columbus, OH. If you're driving, you just have gas, hotels, admission fees, and food and souvenirs. Id say 1000 - 1500 if you go easy on the T-shirts souvenirs, ride coach on the train to the canyon etc. We ate at restaraunts one time per day and used a cooler and a hot plate in the hotels for other eating. Of course if you fly and rent vehicle you have to add that. Our 15 passenger van out the door was 1000.
This was a great trip. I highly recommend it. We skipped a couple things, but did everything else. Did it just as written. Had all hotels reserved ahead of time. All hotels had a swimming pool too. My 5 7 and 9 year old loved it.
I would be very interested in doing this particular trip in July/August 2008. I work in a school and am restricted to school holidays. I want to see both the Grand Canyon and Bisbee.
