You thrill seekers! You made me look up a trip 4 me, 4 my summer hols, well I'm going to Honduras to dive 6 days a wk, surveying dolpin and whale sharks, lookin out 4 them conch n lobsters n just chillin' photographin' all that there wild life. Why? Cos u girls did the impossible!

and I'm jealous!

I just talked briefly to Jane where she reports great weather and wonderful snorkelling. We can't snorkel in the water here because of
1. Hippos
2. Crocodiles
3. Bilhartsia.
The safaris have been terrific and you'll be just green with envy, Deird, when you see the photos. Carl is delighted with his new camera which he couldn't use in dull grey Sweden, though I believe here is snow there now, snow storms in fact.
Deird did you go diving yesterday in the snow in Norn Iron?
The internet facilities here are limited to say the least.
I can't get into my gmail or yahoo mail here but I'm really looking forward to reading your account of the crossing Angela, Jane says they miss you.

On the subject of Derv and her travels .... you all know that they are in Disney World and them there animals take off their costumes when Derv & Carl aren't looking ...... Ha Ha Ha ... don't start me on the flying fish, Mars, Venus and them big boys Angela is talking about.

Hi folks, just a slight correction to informtion posted on the site by Severance. They had estimated that Pouncer averaged 4kts for the trip. Charlotte has provided me with the correct data and it is quite remarkable. The passage distance was 2180 miles and the average speed for the crossing was 5.2kts. I know that there was a favourable ocean current but it is still a mighty impressive speed for such a small craft.

Angela I love your illustration. Perhaps you can do some more for the book that will surely be written one day. Would you please release copright so that we can publish in it 'Trident', the GYC magazine? I don't know if you have any pics but if you do I would be grateful for a few. Give me a call and we can sort something out.
