July 3, 2007

We have travelled over 900 miles in the last three days. Our first camp was in West Virginia (Gerald R. Freeman Campground; Sutton, WV)... Day two brought us to My Old Kentucky Home State Park in Bardstown, KY. Day three brought us to our first real stop along the way... Mammoth Cave National Park.

MCNP was spectacular. We took a two hour tour through the most historic parts of the cave. Mammoth Cave is truly "Mammoth" with over 367 miles of recorded passages. We saw only two miles of the vast caverns... but is was amazing.

Just found this trip although it is some years old it is exactly where I want to go on our RV trip this summer. I didn't come across wheat size RV you had and ours in 35ft. Just figuring rv campsites which I'll have to call ahead of time hopefully 3 months is enough time to get reservatioons!

How did you update your map t-shirts? I think that was so neat. We did a cross country trip in 06- to many of the same places and are planning another here the first of 08.

Hey boss, some nice pictures you took on your journey! One small thing, I think you forgotten to change the date on the camera. Instead of July of 2007, your pictures have January of of 2006 on them.

I hope you are enjoying yourself and it looks like we will be seeing your next week. So have a safe trip & a safe return.

Hi Mark and Lisa - Thanks for the trip info. We are now taking Crazy Horse off the schedule next week...and may be adding the rafting at the Tetons.
