hours. We learned the long and grand history of the last millennium of Hungary on our tour, and saw many buildings with an amalgam of architectural styles requested by kings and patrons who wanted a little of the best of everything (maybe this city was really modeled on Vegas). We were taken to the crown jewel of the crown jewel of the crown jewel of our Eastern European trip (our most highly anticipated of the greatly anticipated baths of Budapest [our highly anticipated destination]): Széchenyi Baths. These thermal baths contain many ground-spring heated pools, obscenely cheap mud baths and massages, and more large old men in Speedos playing chess than the heart could ever desire. We won't be able to make it today, but the Speedo entry should follow shortly.
