I got up very early and headed to Teri-Lynn and Adam's. The five of us carpooled to the airport from there. We were the last people to check in to our flight then we went through security and found breakfast while we waited for our flight to Salt Lake City where we connected to Las Vegas. When we finally got to Vegas, we stood waiting for our bags. All our bags were there except, of course, mine. So I went over to the service center for Delta and they said it would probably be on the next flight from Salt Lake City and I'd get it delivered to my hotel around 6pm that night.
Since I had no luggage there was no point checking in right away so I just went with the rest of th group to Bally's where they dropped off their bags and then we went out to explore Vegas!
Since none of us had eaten since about 6am in Calgary, we decided to check out the lunch buffet at Bally's which was really good. I especially liked the dessert buffet. We ate lots of crab legs and other foods before digging into the sweet stuff though.
We walked along the strip and got ourselves oriented. We went to the Forum shops near the Mirage and did a lot of shopping at Victoria's Secret, once we found it. We went up and down the spiral escalator a few times before we figured it out. The guys waited outside Victoria's Secret very pateintly for us for over an hour. It was a lot of fun for the girls though!
Teri-Lynn and I searched several casinos for $5 black jack but it was hard to find and of course the few $5 tables we did find were full. We tried to catch the Sirens of TI show but it was canceled due to wind, so we headed back inside to the casinos. I had gone to my hotel at 6pm to check in and get my luggage but it wasn't there until I checked again at 10pm. I was very happy to see it again!
