how much did it cost

I absolutely love New York.. The People, The buildings, The big city feel.... I can't wait until my husband and I go!!!

Honestly I don't remember exactly how much it cost. I want to say our hotel was about $199 per night which we thought was great for right off of Times Square. The dinner's were as expensive as you might think.

I am always delighted when people enjoy my home town. Next trip try a wonderful italian restaurant near that hotel called Carmine's. But only order one entre, they serve tons of food family style. Try the Congee House way down town for another taste treat. Visit the Museums, Guggenheim Museum, Museum of Natural History, Met. Museum of Art, there are so many and venture thru Grand Central Station just to see it. For something unusual try 47th street just off 5th Avenue, the diamind district, and window shop. And, of course, there is the Village ans SOHO. Hope you come back soon. By the way there are other less expensive hotels throughout the city.

I wish I could have such an opportunity.

You might want to consider the hotels in less "touristy" areas next time, to save money and get a better idea of what New York is all about.
