Past Travel to Cambodia
Let me tell you I take back my words about my country. For one thing it is a hip place to hang out at. I know it is close to the equator so boys and girls bring your shorts and sunblock because it is crazy hot over here. There is probably a couple of months out of the year which is monsoon season and I think it is around July to August. Let me tell you there is so much to do here in this country. I can't believe it has change since my parent's have left so many many years ago. There is so many places to see and so little time to do it in. I know for one thing if you love artifacts and history please visit the Angkor Wat which is in Siem Reap. That is a beautiful place to visit with all the ruins and carvings and painting and wow! There is also ruins of temples and shrines that you can see along the way. Beautiful temples to visit that has be erected to honor the gods and lost loves. There is also the beautiful waterfall just about an hour away from there and the food and people is like no other. If you like to experiment then you will have fun. The food is excellent. Just don't drink the water out from the tap. From there we headed back to Phom Phen and I stay a little while there and just hung out. I saw live concert that by the Mekong River on Fri and Sat. We hung out at the local bar and karaoke pub and mall. After that we took a trip to the beachside. As we pass the mountains of beautiful green palm trees, I can see waterfalls that hung from it side. It feels like I was going to the jungle. Once at the beachside, there are beautiful villas and hotels to choose from and restuarant galore. Back home in the capital of Cambodia is is endless night life. Every where you go everyone is out doing something. If you like the club scenes, there is plenty of it. If you like shopping then my gosh you have department stores to choose from and malls and little mama and papa stores as well.
