Our Adventure
For those of you who know us or have been following our trip, here is the new improved easier to download, shorter segment travel journal. The whole complete one is still WWJ. Yet for ease of updates and downloading we are going to have smaller trips broken up by continent. It should also be more helpful if you are planning a trip as well. Send us any feedback that could improve this journal further.

Hello,
My name is Kalind Cory Carpenter, my girlfriend and I have decided we are going to travel the world.
I was born on vacation, being I came six and a half weeks early while my parents were on vacation. I guess I have never really stayed put since.
I met my Girlfriend Lucy while travelling as well. It is a passion we both share.
We realized that life was slipping by, we had grand dreams as many do, so we embarked to make sure they became our reality instead of a passing regret.
After two years of saving and planning this is our journey.

Everyone has a story to tell and many will tell it freely. The isolated, retired politician from Zacatecas who was once part of the major corruption and now refuses to be a part of the general society...The Taiwanese man who claims to come from a wealthy family but sleeps all alone in a closet-sized room on a less than hostel quality sponge mattress...Such different people but both eager to tell about themselves, their stories flowing freely. We want our story to be heard as well and this is the beginning of it...

It was great meeting you at Machu Picchu and seeing you again in Cusco. Thanks for the journal. Your trips sounds so exciting. We arrived back in Atlanta on Dec. 12.

Besides Cartagena, there are so many beautiful, magic cities and small towns.... Medellin, Villa de Leyva, Barichara, Paipa just to name a few.
