Day 1
We flew to Paris connecting in Milan via Alitalia. For your future info, Alitalia is famous in Europe for losing the luggage, and of course they lost ours. So after spending a few hours in the airport hoping for our bad to show up, we went to the hotel.
There is a RER train going to Paris for like 10 euros, it gets to Paris real fast.
If you are in Paris Monday thru Monday or smth like that, get ORANGE CARD for the Metro, it is 16 euros for a week unlimited subway and bus - the only thing that it starts every monday and ends the next monday regardless of when you started it.
So we go to our hotel, which is in "local" area, with local mini-market and groceries around, with McDonalds and KFC nearby. The room.... wow... the smallest room i ever saw... we has space around the bed to walk around it, and that's about it. It was clean and the bathroom was nice though, breakfast was great too.
LAter on, we went on a Night TOur-Moulin Rouge. We got the tickets online at Expedia.com for $125 - which was a great deal - I highly recommend.
First we went on a bus tour around Paris at night - really beatiful. Then we went on a cruise along Seine - Paris experience is not full without a CRUISE - wonderful and really romantic. and off to Moulin Rouge, We got a glass of champaigne during the show, which was great...
