There I was standing in front of the entrance of Macy's at Bellevue, WA. All the flashy holiday greetings posted on their windows; Christmas songs playing in the background. Ahhh! I was trying to feel my environment and imagine that I was in the Philippines. Yeah, it could be the Philippines... make the temperature go warmer, change the $ sign to PHP and imagine all the people speaking in Tagalog. Oh, and before I forget, virtualize my friends or my brother and sister, as I start to conquer this mall. LOL! (God, I miss you so much, guys!)
My mere purpose was just to take lunch at the mall (yeah, right!) But as I enter the department store, there it was the men's apparel section waving a big HI to me. Being the kind hearted me, I decided to say HI back at it. So I found a Levi's 522, a Quicksilver driver cap and a Guess jacket in just 5 minutes. Take note found! I didn't buy them, at least not yet. I was all hoping that I would find all of these in the Outlet Shops at Waikele, HI. So I bade farewell to my stuff and gleefully said, "I'll see you soon, don't worry!"
After lunch I met with Tim Mcgrath who just came back from a week long session at Redmond on the People Ready business. I crossed the street from Macy's and found myself walking to the Westin Bellevue where he was staying. We caught up with each other and did a few business talks. We then started talking about the common people we know at work. That's when I remembered I needed to go to a Victoria's Secret store. A couple of my lady friends was asking me to buy them undies there! LOL! Well, I ended up just checking the store and reporting what sytles are available. At around 4PM, we decided to go back to our own hotels and freshen up, agreeing to meet at 7PM for dinner.
At 7PM, the California Pizza Kitchen was jampacked with people. Good thing we had our reservation and we got some pretty good seats, in addition to the pretty hawaiian girl, Ursulla, who was the server assigned to our table. First order that immediately came out of us was Margarita! LOL! Yeah, baby! I needed the heat and I needed to get a decent sleep. A couple of hours later, we were both heading back to our own hotels to hit the sack. We agreed on meeting up at 11AM at my hotel lobby the next morning to go downtown Seattle.
