Las Vegas & Los Angeles July 2007

Day one. Arrived in Vegas around 3:30pm local time. I love McCarran Airport . Took the airport shuttle to the new Rent-A-Car facility...wow. We had a Dodge Charger reserved but when we got there they offered a convertable upgrade for free so I got the convertable Mustang. First stop from the rental facility was...In-N-Out Burger !!! Yummy! Then we made our way up Dean Martin to the Rio . Checked into our suite on the 19th floor of the Masquerade Tower. Rested for a little bit then my wife called an old friend she hasn't seen in forever and her and her husband met us at the hotel and we went to the Palms  for a little gambling. Note...my wife + Toasted Almonds = Funny. I love her so much, she is so fun to be with. I wasn't doing too good at the penny slots where they were playing so I snuck over to the dollar video poker. After two hundred dollars in the machine I hit four aces for $800, then about five hands later hit it again. Cashed out of that machine $1400 and took everyone out to eat at 24/7 at the Palms. I had the prime rib...mmmm! My wife had a bowl of rice, her friend had a bacon cheeseburger and her husband had a salad...I think. After that we went back to the Rio, played a little then called it a night.
