Starting....
Started off from Houston early Saturday morning at around 6am. The initial trip was slow. Everyone just coming to terms to the long trip ahead. 10 hours didn't sound a big deal, until we started. The sun had not risen and the air was cold. We encountered patches of fog and mist on the way. At times the fog used to get very thick and it was fun to drive in that thick fog in between tall tress and open fields. As the sun rose and the fog cleared
we realized the beauty of the place we were passing through. The farms, buildings, horses and everything was a warmth to the eyes.
Entering Mountain View
As we neared Mountain View the sight became more breath taking. The mountainous region, winding roads and river was a pleasant experience compared to the plains of Texas. The driving experience was great too. The hair pin bends and steep slopes was fun to conquer.
