Picked up the wheels. Friggin' sweet. One of the only Chery QQ's on the island. Chery is apparently a Korean brand. The 'rents basically ended up with the Bumble Buggy's big brother: a Suzuki Ignus. We set up shop at our place (Freeport Resort and Club) and found it was clean and decent. We checked out the only casino on the island over in Lucaya and mom won a few bucks at the slots. Table mins were a little steep at $15 for BJ, $10 at craps, but a reasonable $5 for Caribbean stud. Must be a local discount.

I am going to the Bahama's the end of this month... I was wondering if there was anything that I should definitely check out while I'm there?? Any suggestions?
we were lucky the hotel /casino was still open near the international market place and they had a nice eaterie in there.
we had traded our timeshare in bonaire for freeport to save some money that year, we never went back again for about much the same reason i bet you didnt either.
i will always remember however a beautiful sunday, the hotel took us there in the minivan and picked us up. it was a bar and diner on the beach, they rented you a chair and an umbrella for maybe $10,a fish lunch was affordible and the beer was cold. we were able to walk the beach or just sit and enjoy those beautful turquiose waters and the sun and breeze.
