I got up early this morning wanting to be on the road at 6 in the morning. We did not end up leaving until 10 am. It seems that my daughter was having a hard time leaving her cat. It took about 11/2 hours for her to give the instructions on how the cat needed to be taken care of while we were gone. Then a whole bunch of little things kept popping up that delayed us. We finally hit the road and ran into a little bit of rain but for the most part we had a safe trip and a nice drive. In Pennsylvania we learned that crayons are made there. The first banana split came from PA, and the slinky dink also came from PA. We stopped by the flight 93 memorial this was a nice memorial. After all of this we got back on our way to OH. We stayed with some good friends that I had not seen in about 12 years. We had a wonderful time. This is when I learned the first lesson on the trip--when visiting family and friends you have to have a more flexible schedule. You cannot just get up and leave as you planned on paper.
