My husband and I had a wonderful time in Barcelona, 17-19 Nov 2006. We were there for two days and only spent $200. We took a tourist bus to most of the major attractions; it only costed $23 per person. We saw a flamenco show for only $10 per person. We ate out at some of the locals. We went to a nightclub called Jamboree, that's good for hip-hop, reggae, rock, pop, techno, 80's music and R & B. It's a two level club. Downstairs is hip-hop, reggae and R & B. Upstairs is everything else. The admission was $12 per person. We bought souvenirs very cheaply. Note: always bargain with the sellers, don't pay the asking price in most shops. Transportation everywhere was a breeze. We purchased a T10 rail ticket that took you everywhere. That ticket is $10 and you share it amongst everyone in your group regardless of the number. It's good for 24 hours. Although we had a wonderful time and saw amazing sculptures, the city is trashy. Bring hand sanitizer and keep it with you at all times.
