airport was a bit hectic, but roughly ok. China world hotel is actually shangri la. Excellent fitness center and health center, and room was also very nice. Right at a shopping center as well.
Hongyunlou restaurant had excellent stir fry food and the steamboat looked good (Muslim food). Secret is to get the hotel to write the names and addresses in chinese for the taxi driver (and take the card for the hotel so you can get back!)

most popular historical sites . One full day for the Great Wall tour and Ming Tombs.The best part of the Tomb is the Animal Road , the way leading to the tomb . There are 36 huge stone animals and figures,good for photoes. Another full day is city tour, Tian An Men Square .The Forbidden City
and Summer Palace .The Forbidden City is huge ,One third of it opened to the Poblic ,takes a full day at least to see them all.But most people spends two hours inside .Leave a half day for the Temple of Heaven .A wooden structure building built in 1420 AD without nials .
