Getting ready to go
We are almost off!!
I was awake at 3:30 is morning excited about going. This is one of those top 10 things to do before you die, at least for me. The other night i was laying in bed thinking about everything that i had to do and i hit HOLY HELL! I am going to NEW YORK CITY (it sounded in my head like the pace picante sauce where they say New York City with a texas drawl). And needless to say i got REALLY excited then.
Scott has been doing REPORTS for the last 4 days. And took on another fire in Healdsburg yesterday. It was about i could do to get him to get the suitcases out of the garage and try 2 dress shirts on. SO i am sure he'll need a vacation by the time we leave tonight.
Trev seemed to goet excited when he heard we were going on a BIG airplane. That was exciting for him and also staying in a hotel. The kid loves hotels. I have shown him the pictures of where we are going and everytime i see DC or NY on the tv i tell him that is where we are going.
Vanessa, Kaela and Mason came by this morning to say hello and goodbye that was nice.
Amanda is worried about leaving her friends and Tom for so long.
Everything is ready to go.
The people at the airlines were really nice last night. They Helped me get all of us to sit together since i had booked amanda's flight later. And they set us up for the connecting flight too. VERY VERY NICE.
I talked to greg last night he is going to try to meet up with us on Friday.
Anthony and Lacie are going to hopefully meet up with us on our way from New York to Richmond. Scott will be surprised. For those of you who didnt know Anthony was a witness at our wedding.
I was reading the you can and cant bringon the the plane stuff. This is how stupid people are They actually had to say NO AXES, MEAT CLEVERS, HAND GRENADES, DYNAMITE and a number of stupid things. Do poeple really try to do that. They must be the ones we need to remind not to put the hair dryer in the bath!!
We are flying on a 737 WASHINGTON DC HERE WE COME!!!!

Crossing the street in NY is a true life lesson in other places.
