Or as I discovered once constrained within the aircraft - possibly coming straight back to Wellington! Auckland was apparently shrouded in fog and nothing was landing up there.
The super enthusiastic flight attendant was happily telling us we'd circle Auckland a few times and then return to Welly if we couldn't land. The flight gods were kind today, the fog lifted as we approached Auckland and I will be on this afternoon's flight to Bangkok and on to London.
In the meantime its the Koro Club, and a glass of pinot :)
