Getting to Venice
All travel--from the West Coast to the Midwest to Amsterdam to Venice. A storm in Minneapolis caused delays so we almost didn't make our flight to Venice. Huge problem since our Ho(s)tel only lets you check in from 9:00am-1:00 pm or 6:00-8:00 pm. If we don't make our flight, we have to find a new place to stay for the night. Fortunately we make it (literally running all the way to the gate). Unfortunately, our luggage does not. That will have to arrive later!
