We arrived in Cabo right at the beginning of a tropical storm. Once we had gotten through customs (which is the button you push and get a red light or green light ~wow Mexico has got some great security~ but yet I am so thankful everytime I've ever had to do this i got green), but we were picking up our luggage and the power went out for like 5-10 seconds (let me tell you that is scary espcially in Mexico). Got passed all the pushy timeshare people. They barely even phased me since I was more focused on finding our shuttle to the timeshare. Someone asked what shuttle we were looking for, and the guy came running, next thing we know he has our bags in the van and where headed out of the parking lot (would have been better if we weren't the only couple in the van with the crazy Mexician), but we ran red lights and sweared all over, in a couple places the road was washed out from the storm. But we made, and surprisingly in one piece, my husband was so happy the guy got us there~ and we had considered renting a car. I may be able to keep up with the best of them in the US but down there my crazy driving I don't think would cut it.
Once we got there we got settled into our room (which had a wonderful view of the ocean, the palm trees and the pool. Then we headed downstairs to the activities desk to find out what we could get signed up for through the hotel. We didn't get anything signed up just then since there was a tropical storm on the verge of a hurricane that was pushing its way through and was suppose to hit really hard the next day. We went and walked around on the beach just a little bit (not too safe with the waves). We ate dinner at the restraunt on-site, which was nothing well known but had wonderful food.
