My name is Everaldo Fiatkoski Junior, Im from Goiania, GO, Brazil.
Im a lawyer, specialized in International Negotiations and interested in tax law and asset management as well.
But why do a guy like that made such a trip, you might be asking... And the answer is: Because. Actually, I had an award ticket to anywhere in South America with Varig, and decided to use it. As Varig was in a difficult situation, near bankrupcy, I thought many times this trip wouldnt happen. But it did, and was marvelous.
From now on, Ill keep tight to inform the itinerary and prices, usefull to whom travels to those places and wants to make a budget.
Goiania (GYN) to Sao Paulo (CGH) - R$ 485,00+15,42, paid by Varig.
Sao Paulo (CGH) to Sta Cruz de la Sierra (VVI) - R$ 641,54+19,62+64,00, paid by Varig.
Taxi from Airport to anywhere in the city - B$ 50,00 (US$ 1,00 = B$ 8,00)
Taxi prices inside town vary from B$ 5,00 to B$ 10,00. A beer is worth B$ 5,00 (350 ml. can) and B$ 6,50 (1 lt. bottle).
Jodanga Backpackers Hostel - B$ 50,00.
Bus from Sta Cruz to Sucre - 14 h - B$ 100,00 (Buscama) or B$ 70,00 (regular). Strongly advise to take the most expensive bus in order to have a minimum of comfort and safety during this trip.
Advised tour: SAMAIPATA - take a taxi to "Taxistas de Samaipata", in Av. Omar Chávez Ortiz, esquina con Soliz de Olguin. A shared taxi takes 4 for B$ 25 each to the Samaipata City. Usually, for US$ 25,00 he takes the entire group (4) till the Samaipata park. Half a day trip.
