Foreword
Our goal is not just to create a journal to share with friends but also provide insight into a CYTS tour. I include a lot of detail with times and information about hotels for anyone who wants to go on a CYTS tour and wants to know what to expect. After 18 days, there is a lot to talk about.
This journal is a work in progress. It will get filled in bit by bit over time. There's so much to be said about such a long trip and so many typos to correct.

I would love to hear from anyone who has been on a CYTS trip and can share their experiences. I think it would be very edifying to compare notes.
i am from China and i am agree with most of your views on China! I have to say that you have good eyesight!
By the way the small vehicles are not taxi,and its illegal altho its convenient and green.

Took a Friendly Planet tour to Thailand a few mos ago. It was great. Really good guide, Miss Patty, and nice folks from USA. Would like to go back to northern Thailand someday... Lovely places.
