2006 - Los Angeles: Nebraska @ USC

The plane landed at noon and I headed for Skylinks golf course. It's next door to the airport. It's not the greatest track, but you can't beat the $50 green fees and the five minute drive from the rental car lot to the club house. The course is flat and not very memorable but Nick and I played our first round together in years. That made it really fun.

We left the golf course and headed to Chavez Ravine to see the Dodgers play the Padres. We met up with Greg, Spencer and Leeland. The game was great. The dodgers won. Greg Maddox had a no-hitter going into the seventh inning. The dodger dogs were great and the beer was nice and cold. I hadn't been to a dodger game since I was a kid so this was awesome. The stadium looked great and it was a lot more fun than I thought it would be.

It was also nice to see a few Nebraska fans at the game. They had a sports filled weekend planned just like me!
