Day 1
Flight to Anchorage

Northwest Airlines flight from Detroit to Anchorage, Alaska. The duration of the flight was about 7 hours, which was pretty long but the last couple hours there were beautiful glaciers and mountains in view which led to an enjoyable flight. Checked into the Holiday Inn Express for the night. With the time change and the days being extra long in Alaska, we ended up going to bed with the sun still shining bright out the window.
