We are planning a 2month road trip to several states including , Utah, Colorado, South Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon and back to San Diego(Spring Valley).....

If your nearby don't forget Devil's Tower near Sturgis in Wyoming, also Medicine Wheel west of Billings,MT., Monument Valley it is so inspiring as all of the western states are they make you a true believer that these areas were not man-made!

Man. I'd love to hear about your trip. I live in the Black Hills and I'd like to do a loop west of here sometime with my wife. Medicine Wheel and Devils Tower (closer to Spearfish) are both good suggestions. Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park and Deadwood are other must-sees in our neck of the woods.
