Day of the Flight
Today was spent sewing and packing (and otherwise) getting ready for the trip. Right before we left for the airport, it started raining. I made it through security without any issues but Laura's belt set off the alarms.
The plane left an hour late but we were only about 30 minutes behind our original landing time for tomorrow.
We had an awesome cooking on the Alaska Airlines flight to Boston. They warmed it and everything. Laura and I watched 16 candles on the portable DVD player and then we tried to sleep. By then, our neighbor had started to snore. We didn't get much sleep and I figure it will help us acclimate to the new time zone.

I have lived in Beverly my whole life which borders Salem and you have seen more than I have. I ride by these places all the time. I have been to a few of the many attractions in Salem but for a person who lives so close I was never into Salem during Halloween. It is the Halloween capitol of the world and people come from everywhere. It is crazy but fun if that is what your into. Beverly is the brithplace of the Navy. George Washington came to Beverly by ship. Also in Beverly is the Balch House the oldest wooden house in the nation built in the 1600's. So come visit everyone we are friendly people.
