London Stonehenge Bath

DAY 0 - Friday - We picked our son from middle school at 3:00pm and drove home so he could leave his school book bag, change into his traveling clothes and then we're off to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport for a 7:20pm Delta flight to London .

DAY 1 - Saturday - Arrived one hour early into London 's Gatwick Airport at 8:10am.  Purchased round-trip tickets on the Gatwick Express to Victoria Station.  Walked to Ebury Street .  Derek checked us in room #2.  We quickly unpacked -- then off to see London around 11:30am.

We walked past the world famous Buckingham Palace (no changing of the guard today) continued walking by St. James park then on pass Big Ben (the bell, not the clock or the tower) crossing Westminster Bridge.  The London Eye was closed due to technical issues.  Toured the Salvadore Dali museum which was also featuring a Picasso exhibit.  We stopped to eat lunch at the Studio C, a little cafe on the Thames River in the County Hall building.

On the way back to the James and Cartref house, a bed and breakfast (B&B), we rested on a bench in St. James Park.  An extremely long motorcycle envoy passed by us.  Back at the room, all three of us crashed.  We all woke up 11:30pm and stayed up watching TV until around 1am.
