Merlion, Little India, and Night Safari
We stayed at Le Meridian Hotel, it is a pretty good location between Little India and Orchard Road action. In the afternoon, we took a day pass offered by singapore airlines to go to Little India, Merlion, and took the boat cruise along the singapore river. In the evening, we took the bus to night safari which is highly recommended, it cost us ~$7pp for the ride and ~$30 for the night safari (approximate figures, check the website for exact cost). The bus departed stops at various major locations to pick up/drop off ppl, and for us, the nearest stop was right behind out hotel. There are shows at the start of each hour which is quite amusing.
