Bike Trip 2006

Our day started by getting Madelyn ready to go home.  We set out at 10am after packing the truck with everything we could.  We headed up to Green Bay to pick up Madelyn's brothers, Chase & Paul David, at my sister, Jessica's house.  From Green Bay, we headed up to Oconto to meet my other sister, Sheila to give her children back to her.  Then finally, our vacation started.  We set out on county roads until we met up with HWY 29 west and then HWY 39 South.  Then we decided to take a senic road through some DNR land.  It was beautiful.  We arrived on HWY 21 near Tohma, WI and made a few stops before finding the campground near Wilton, WI (Heart of the Trail).  The Tunnel Trail Campground was perfect for us, right on the trail, they let us pick our campsite because we had a tent.  We pick one close to the bathrooms, but private enough for us.  We grilled, ate supper, had a few drinks and went to bed.  It was a great day.
