The Journey Begins

http://www.sixworlds.com/nivas/peru

While hundreds of thousands of people flock to the new Mecca of Football in Germany, I'm headed in a completely different direction.

A journey over 3 continents, 9 time zones, 14 countries, 29 hours and 9600 miles.... Peru beckons....

It is a day away from the opening match of the World Cup where the kick-off happens in Munich, between hosts Germany and Costa Rica... and me, I'm at Dubai Intl Airport at 10:30 pm, trying my chances at the airline counters to hop on a flight to Lima via Amsterdam and Bonaire. 30 minutes before departure at 12:30am, the check-in agent gives me a green signal and the boarding pass... I'm off to Amsterdam -- For those you who don’t work for an airline, it wouldn’t make sense as to why I was hoping to hop on the flight, and why was I at the mercy of the check- in agent... but to keep it simple, The Journey begins!

I heard the MUSEO LARCO is a must see in Lima!

I guess they have some sort of ancient erotica pottery collection, as well as works in silver and gold!
