Getting ready
The day before any of our trips contains flurries of activity. We're not exactly the most organized people in our private life, probably to balance out work life. So we had to clean the house because we have somebody who will stay in our place to take care of the cats and we have to pack. I actually checked this week to make sure if the passports were still valid. Don't know what I would have done if they weren't by the way.
And then there's packing of course. It's a little easier than usual this time because we're only going for a couple of weeks and we're not going to a country like Nepal where we had a ton of gear to bring along for trekking.
Our flight leaves Vancouver at 1:30pm.
