Planning for the Journey
Today is July 10 and we still await the Invitation Letters from the Company that we are visiting. I have been there before, so, I know most of the processes involved.
Our hosts have assured us that they have faxed the invitation Letters, but somehow the Visa Section Personnel in the Saudi Embassy insists that it was not received. It is very important to obtain Visa before the end of the week. The journey starts from July 20th.

Can you please advise me on choice of hotel. Last time we stayed at the Golden Tulip Al-hamra. It is a nice hotel with a downtown feel, but it costs almost US$ 100 per night. Can we get anything at half that price, still nice and somewhat with accessibility to the city on foot?
