Hello Everyone!
Because I'm a native of Bangkok, I have a lot of experience with going to the hottest restaurants and lounges along with the most inspiring places that a native or tourist can visit. I hope you enjoy my journal and am happy to share with you my most recent trip to Bangkok. This trip plan really highlights what its like to experience such a wonderful place, and I am really excited that you can see all the fabulous things to do here.
The Dusit Thani Bangkok is an amazing hotel with newly renovated rooms and all the modernamenities. The part I love is that it has a state of the art gym, beautiful pool, unparalleled day spa and driving range, and these are just some of the special features of the Dusit.
This luxurious hotel was the official host hotel for Miss Universe 2005 (where I was crowned) and every person who spent the four-week pageant period there, raved about it. The staff's attention to detail is unmatched and the hotel is only a short tuk-tuk's http://www.into-asia.com/bangkok/tuktuk/ ride from Patpong to the beautiful floating markets and amazing historical Buddhist Temples.

The Dusit Thani also features eight amazing on-site restaurants which offer cuisine from Thai to French to Italian and everything in between! I also recommend having a cocktail at the rooftop bar D’Sens; it has a breathtaking view of the city.
Fun Times, Delicious Dines and Some Awesome Island Hopping. . .
The fabulous restaurant and lounge, the Koi Bangkok http://koirestaurantbkk.com/index2.htm, turns more into a bar/club at night. It's one of my favorite local spots and every time I go, the food is amazing! I always have a great time when I come here. I’ve also been to Koi in Los Angeles and New York City, and it’s consistently good, all over the world!
Bed Supper Club http://www.bedsupperclub.com/ is a HOT club in Bangkok. It has amazing music and a relaxed yet trendy atmosphere. It's a guaranteed good time and the music will inspire you to get up and dance! I really enjoy coming here and know you would too.
Koh Samui is an amazing Island located in the southwestern part of Thailand. http://www.kohsamui.org/. The water and the sand are unlike anything I've ever seen. Far away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, the stunning scenery and relaxed atmosphere makes Koh Samui a truly amazing vacation spot.
Although it's a smaller island, Koh Phangan (right next to Koh Samui) shows as much entertainment and culture as all the rest. This island is where tens of thousands of people come from all over the world to dance the night away for the Full Moon Party. http://fullmoonparty-thailand.com/
The main restaurant in Bangkok, Cabbages and Condoms (ignore the name it's just for fun) is home to several private dining rooms as well as an outdoor beer garden and parking, which is hard to find in the bustling city of Bangkok. A pivotal point of this restaurant is that it features a message; one that is very important to me. I am concerned with the HIV/AIDS issues trans world, particularly in Thailand where I grew up.
This tourist-friendly restaurant serves Thai food in a traditional Thai setting. Outdoor or indoor seating is available and the décor (various posters and wall hangings describing different kinds of prophylactics) make for very interesting dinner conversation! At the end of your meal you receive a condom instead of a dinner mint, strange, perhaps, but an interesting twist on the standard dining experience and a nod to the encouragement of safer sex in a country which is working to eradicate the HIV/AIDS pandemic. I highly recommend going to Cabbages and Condoms restaurant for excellent food and an unforgettably learning experience. http://www.cabbagesandcondoms.co.th/
A piece of Thailand Culture:
The Temple of the Dawn, or “Wat Arun” as it’s known in Thailand, is named after the Indian God of dawn, “Aruna.” It is located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River and was home to King Taksin in the 17th Century. It is a beautiful spot and a must-see for any traveler to Thailand. http://www.thailandtoday.com/bangkok/sightseeing/08_0004_watarun.html
This temple is absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking to anyone who visits. Whenever I want to reflect and experience the beauty of Thailand I come here.
thanks
