My Family Trip to Gold Coast, June 2006

Tuesday 13th June 2006-We departed from Singapore Changi Airport at9.20 pm and arrived Brisbane Airport Wednesday 14th JUne at 6.25am(ie:4.25am Singapore time)
From there we boarded on bus to Brisbane City Centre,Brisbane River and sightseing the neighbourhood around Gold Coast on the way to Paradise Country for Aussie Farm Tour.

Wednesday 14th June 2006-Paradise Country,Aussie Farm Tour
We can see all the Cowboys here with horses,sheeps,kangaroos and Koalas.
On the way to check in hotel at Surfers Paradise,we stopped by a souvernir shop to buy the famous Australian Nougat.

Thursday 15th June 2006-Warner Bros Movie World
This is really a nice and exciting place to visit for the whole family especially kids.My Youngest daughter was so excited during the 4D Shrek show..she enjoyed it very much.We were entertained with the Police Academy Stunt Show too.
Not to mention all the famous movie characters who paraded the lane such as Batman,Catwoman,Wonderwoman,Zorro,The Flash,Shrek,the looney tune characters...Bugs Bunny,Twitty Bird,Sylvester and many more.

We have the chance to take most rides available there and that was so much fun.

Friday 16th June 2006-Seaworld
This is a water theme park,includes rides,Dolphin Cove,Shark Bay and more.

Saturday17th June 2006-A visit to Tropical Fruit World,Australia Honey,Chocolate factory and Captain Cook Memorial and Lighthouse.

We went to the largest Shopping Centre in Australia,The Pacific Fair and at night we went to the night market at Surfers Paradise too.
The night markets are on every Wednesday and Friday nights.During these days we can see more people around unlike during daytime on weekdays(except Wednesday & Friday).

Sunday 18th June 2006-Our last day in Gold Coast
We were heading back to Singapore on a flight at 2.10pm from Brisbane Airport.

yea,so beautiful trip

i am going on a trip or 2 after September 15,06 because i get alot of money.i want somewhere for under 3,000

I would like to visit this place it look beauiful.

i like surfers paradise its clean and the sea is very near to the commercial area and les people. i like BNE cause of the river boating and tall buildings and clean streets and nice foods. i will come back and see those nice places again in june 2007 c you QLD
