the journey begins

no sleep. packed bag 5 times. still couldn’t fit everything in. finished packing in time to run out the door – bag ended up weighing over 25kg!

blizzard began 4am.  left house 0530 to have ticket machine swallow debit card.  back across the road & j brought out the other card.  back to station in the snow in time to see first bank card being spit out.  0

604 train

0630 seven sisters – paid cash this time for tube and Gatwick express tickets

0800 gatwick – giant queue at security checking all belts & shoes

0900 at departure lounge

1200 plane departs on time

2030 arrive 1 hr early into Houston
