This is our 1st Family Trip. This trip is comprised of a Mother, Father and our 8 year old Daughter. We will be staying at family's house and using their car. I'm anticipating this trip to cost about $1700 including the airfare. Delta had a good deal $650 RT for three people...not bad at all.

First Day/Arrival

We arrived to Florida sorta late so we decided on getting acquainted with the new digs, purchasing some junk food from the local supermarket, grabbing a bite to eat from none other than Mickey Dee's and going to bed.

We were spent...

resenigram Birnbaum's 2008 Disney World travel guide was very helpful for my family. It was really helpful by telling me if you have so many days what would be the best plan to make. It answered so many questions that I had. Hope that this helps.

hey we where there in may of 2007 had fum we plan on having christmas there this year our first family trip as a whole we stayed in lake buena vista and plan to go back there this year 2008

I am planning a trip for my family to Orlando. We are going for 7 nights, but we want to hang out a the hotel at least for 1 day and night to chill. This is our first trip there. I have 2 children, ages 10 and 12. Since this is our first trip, it seems a bit overwhelming to plan. I don't really know how the whole disney world thing works, we have Disneyland and California adventure here. So I don't really know what is a "must see" or "Do" and how many days I need tickets for each, etc... ANy advice?
