Omaha Nebraska

My trip to Omaha, NE was incredibly awesome!  I got there on Saturday morning.  On Sunday, July 2nd, my boyfriend took me to the Henry Doorly Zoo.  :)  The only advice I have to people who are going to the zoo, make sure you go EARLY....so that you get a good parking place and not have to fight crowds.  We spent all day at the zoo. I actually got some really awesome shots at the zoo but the battery on my digital camera died so that really stunk.  Other than that, the trip was awesome.  My favorite part was the jungle.  I've never been to a jungle before but I felt like I was there, if that makes sense at all!! LOL. 

On Monday, July 3rd, I know it says we explored the Old Market but we didn't really.  We stayed at the house that day and vegged out.  :)  All the walking at the zoo wore me out.  :) 

July 4th-We stayed at home again to celebrate the 4th of July!!!  We had a BBQ.

July 5th-We went to Frank's Treehouse to play poker.  It's really fun there because the atmosphere is nice and the people are really friendly.

July 6th-HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!   My honey's mom took me to the Omaha Children's Museum and the Durham Western Heritage Museum.  Both are very nice places to go to visit.  The Omaha Children's Museum has special exhibits for the kids up on the top floor plus a really cool play area.   :)  Then, we went to eat at the Falling Water Grille.  Really yummy!!  That evening, my baby took me to dinner at Lo Sole Mio.  They have awesome chicken fetuccine alfredo.  Oh, make sure you dress up to go there!! 

July 7th-I drove home to Kansas!!
