We spent just one day here in Cairo and just got to see the Giza Pyramids, get to go down to one of the smaller pyramids, took lots of picture at the giza and the sphinx, rode the camel and screamed a lot out of happiness, and look with awe at the amazing stuffs inside the cairo museum, and bought a real deal papyrus(real fine unlike those one would usually get from the normal shops like in namaa bay or the old market in sharm) and bought a real deal egyptian perfumes.
I didn't like the ride on our van going to and from sharm. We thought getting a private car would be good, but it turned out a bad decision. It would have been nicer if we just went with other tourists on a bus. It's just difficult because we could only go to cairo on a sunday on our day-off so we couldn't find an english-speaking tours. Mostly were a group of russian, italian, or japanese tours so it was a little hard.
i wish to come back to this city and spend like two more days here. Id like to see more of the city and get to know more about the people. They say you really can find cheap goods around in cairo as well. Sharm is expensive, real expensive compared to Cairo. True enough coz some of the stuffs i saw at the cairo airport shops were even cheaper than the ones i found in Sharm. Whew!
id put more pics here next time...
