Ok, I have to clarify. This trip was for my college's orchestra to perform with the Bahamas National Choir. That made us a little more like guests of the government than true tourists. Besides getting a stipend our hotel and transportation were taken care of. But don't let that fool you, we were still just college kids in the Bahamas.

The first day we were there we just went out on the beach. We didn't have a lot of time so we decided that we'd just enjoy the sun for a little bit. We did walk around a little bit and ended up spending a little bit of moolah at the Junkanoo Cafe which is part of our hotel. It was good, but hey, it's really just touristy.

That night we went to the bar in the hotel lobby. The one downstairs is not recommended, unless you're a local. The bar upstairs wasn't busy (it was a Thursday night) and everyone we met was very friendly.

I'very happy when my friend invite me to work in Nassau,Bahamas. it was great for me to work there, but unfortunately, theres some anomally in my agency that there's no job order from bahamas im here in the philippines. So, im sad when i heard that bad news for me. I know that bahamas is a paradise place an many tourist went there.but, anyway, i wish i went there.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I am thinking about planning a trip in late June for myself and some family members with children. It sounds like the kids will love the beach, and the adults will love the night-life.

I will be going to Nassau on 11/18 and need some info / insight from those who've been there. Any recommendations on restaurant, entertainment or activities will be great. I hear things are a bit pricey, is that true? Also, if you did some scuba diving there, how much does it cost and should I request a certain diving spot? Thanks in advance for any info.

nassau is one of the best ,i must say ,great people ,lovely enviroment,there is so much to do while you are here.many islands time is never enough for you ,but once you get here you will always want to come back.
