A short vacation to get away from it all. A road trip starting of with some theme parks in Orlando and Tampa. Then of to Key West for a day long boat trip to the Dry Tortuga's and Fort Jefferson.

Sat 07/22/06 (day 1)

DAY 1 Schiphol Airport Gate G5 10:24 am (dutch local time)

After being woken by Renske even before the alarm had rung we got up and started the pc for the last time in a little more than a week. The breakfast consisted of some croissants and juice. Did a final check of the suitcases and around 7:45 we where picked up by Renskes parents to go to the airport. During the trip to the around we got some questions of here parents about the trip and we where told the would look to teletext to follow our flight.

We arrived at the airport kissed them goodbye and went looking for the check in row we should have to go to.

Hey - I live in Sarasota. If you're into the beach at all, you should definitely go to Siesta Key (the island here), which is supposed to have the whitest beach in the world. Also, you might want to consider kayaking anywhere along the Gulf coast, which is a great way to see manatees, dolphins, and birds. Just thought I'd weigh in!

Hey Amy and Ryan that sounds like a good idea now i wish i had a day more along the gulfcoast. But the kayaking really sounds great i have been there a few times now but never thought about it.

I added it to my things to do list thank you :D

I live in Florida. Its like living in paradise...cept for those annoying hurricanes which have a tendency to interupt your cell and internet service. Da hecks up with that?
