Memphis, TN

We had a great time watching the kids bowl against each other.  We where able to take advantage of the free child's summer bowling program and got a free game so we ended up playing 4 games.  The kids had a blast and they where a little tuckered afterwards.  Next Lunch at McDonald's to eat and run the last their energy off in the play area.  Then to the movies to watch "Cars".  Too much fun, we really enjoyed the movie, we'll have to take dad to the drive-in when we get home. 

We walked around mud island and followed the mississippi river in the scaled down model along the walk ways.  Then headed back tward the car and visited the visitor center for travel information and other ideas for fun that day.

We enjoyed a great sea food lunch at Red Lobster before becoming ducks in the rain.

Got to ride the Ducks on Saturday it was very rainy, but that didn't stop us true ducks! hahaha  We drove through historic Memphis and past the pyramid and around mud island.  The Duck is part road and part water which was fun transitioning to and from.  The kids where having the time of their lives.

We walked around Beale Street to the Hard Rock Cafe' and then back to the car.  Boy where we ready for a nap by now.  Whewww!

After our Saturday in Memphis we spent the rest of our trip hanging out with old friends and BBQing and swimming and relaxing.  Even watched some movies and played a little cards.  What a great trip, a little touristing and alot of great memories with great old friends.  See ya'll later this year!!
